Dr. Truitt is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach and living in the Richmond area since 1999. Since 2013 he has called Mechanicsville home. He graduated from Virginia Tech with honors in 1999. He then graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry in 2003. After a one year preliminary internship, Dr. Truitt completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency from VCU in 2008. He entered private practice in 2008 and started Truitt Oral Surgery in April of 2012. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is known for his caring approach and desire to provide patients with the best experience possible. His number one priority is patient safety. Outside of the practice, Dr. Truitt enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and two sons. He is a competitive Sporting Clays shooter. He has and continues to win many championships throughout the East Coast and beyond. He loves the outdoors. If he is not in the office, he is most likely on the sporting clays course, hiking or at the beach with his family.

Hello Beaverdam families! My name is Jennifer and my house is open for childcare again! About me: I'm 36 and have 4 beautiful children ( infant,2,3 and 6 ). My home sits on 22 acres with 2 ponds and a huge farm field. I had a successful in-home daycare back in Fredericksburg for almost 2 years. I have been watching children in Beaverdam for over a year now. I offer play based childcare. I provide breakfast, lunch and all the snacks. We love doing crafts and playing outside! We paint, use playdough, color our hair with chalk pend and face paint (To name a few) I have a private Facebook group where parents can keep up with what we are doing and also to get to know each other too. We have 2 playgrounds and a bunch of outside toys to keep the little busy. I'm excited to take the kids fishing in the ponds and hikes in the backyard forest. I'm located in 23015 and am only 6 minutes away from Beaverdam Elementary school. I'll be available 7am until 5:30 pm. No weekends or holidays.
