Dr. Truitt is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach and living in the Richmond area since 1999. Since 2013 he has called Mechanicsville home. He graduated from Virginia Tech with honors in 1999. He then graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry in 2003. After a one year preliminary internship, Dr. Truitt completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency from VCU in 2008. He entered private practice in 2008 and started Truitt Oral Surgery in April of 2012. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is known for his caring approach and desire to provide patients with the best experience possible. His number one priority is patient safety. Outside of the practice, Dr. Truitt enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and two sons. He is a competitive Sporting Clays shooter. He has and continues to win many championships throughout the East Coast and beyond. He loves the outdoors. If he is not in the office, he is most likely on the sporting clays course, hiking or at the beach with his family.

We have a range of egg colors from the filling breeds: Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Brahma, Leghorn, Buckeye, Buff Orpington, Americaunas, Olive Eggers, and Easter Eggers. Colors range from dark brown, light brown, pink, blue, white, and sage green. We are just proud owners of our small backyard chicken flock. We are not out to make a profit, just to continue to provide food for our girls. We sell our eggs as follows: $4.00/dozen $7.00/ 2 dozen $10.00 / 3 dozen. The more you purchase, the price goes down. We are located in Mechanicsville, VA We have also sold eggs for incubating. If you are interested, please let us know so that eggs can be set aside.
